Selective Herbicide Treatment
Ideal when you want to kill weeds in your lawn
This treatment is targeted to common lawn weeds such as White clover (Trifolium repens), daisy (Bellis perenis),
deadnettle (Lamium sp.), speedwell (Veronica sp.), Shepherd’s Purse (Capsella bursa pastoris) and Field Forget-me-not (Myosotis arvensis). Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale), broad leaved dock (Rumex obtusifolius), Self heal (Prunella vulgaris), creeping buttercup (Ranunculus repens), yarrow (Achillea millefolium) and corn chamomile (Anthemis arvensis).
We use Enforcer which Contains 4 powerful active ingredients- 24-D, dicamba, MCPA and mecoprop-p.
If you require a treatment to control tougher weeds such as trefoil, speedwell & yarrow (we can advise), we use a different product called Mogul.

How is this Carried out?
You do not need to be home for us to carry out this treatment.
This treatment is carried out in March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October (Spring, Summer)
Before Our Visit
There is no need to prepare anything before our visit but we do ask that you don't mow the lawn within 2 days of an expected Herbicide application.
The Application Day
We monitor the weather closely, and if rain or strong winds are forecast then we will re schedule your appointment as it is not safe or effective to apply herbicides in these conditions.
During our visit children and animals must kept inside while we work. We will be wearing full PPE and will apply herbicide using either a knapsack sprayer or spot sprayer depending on the area to be treated.
After our Visit
Please keep animals and children off the lawn for 24h, grazing animals such as rabbits, tortoises and guinea pigs should be kept out of the treated area for at least 14 days. Wait 5 days before Mowing the lawn. Results will be seen within 3 weeks.
